"URVASHI -A tale of beauty...A legend of love..."  is an eternal love story from  Indian mythology,  a tale of passion, jealousy and womanhood …coming alive on stage.

Urvashi  The heavenly nymph in Court of Lord Indra is not only the most beautiful and talented amongst all Apsaras;  but cogent enough  to question  her identity and valiant enough  to revolt against the heavenly laws for her rights and sovereignty as a woman.The story is unfolded by a young collage couple who is stuck in forbidden forest .Urvashi’s heart rules the mind unlike other Apsaras since she is  being created by a human –Narrishi’. Her quest towards love and life.. leads her through a wonderful voyage on earth where she falls in love with a mortal King Pururava.

Recreated for the modern youth and global audience from the the classic play Vikramorvasiyam, written by  the renowned Sanskrit playwright Kalidasa.
