The description of the performance is as below:

This unique evening will feature Dancer and Choreographer Manjari Chaturvedi along with Actor Ekant Kaul as they seamlessly blend together the dance of the royal courts with the emotive verses of Ghalib. The storyteller will eloquently lead the audience into the mesmerizing world of Ghalib’s poetry while the dancer will elegantly recreate the aura of a bygone era in which the erstwhile courtesans twirled in synchrony to the renowned poet’s writings.

The performance promises to vividly describe through dance and storytelling the significance of Ghalib’s work and the influence of his poetry and the literature of the times on the famous courtesan Nawab Jaan. This distinctive interplay of history, literature and the performing arts woven together is sure to entrance audiences.
