Remembering Chitresh Das is a treat for Kathak lovers and connoisseurs of Hindustani classical music and Indian classical dance. A tribute to the legendary artist and guru Pandit Chitresh Das who redefined Kathak, this two-part evening will be opened with Kathak in Pandit Das’s signature style by his disciples and students of Chhandam Nritya Bharati. Leading Jaipur gharana artist Pandit Rajendra Gangani from Delhi will perform a dynamic Kathak solo in the second half. A live music ensemble comprising musicians from Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata makes this a stellar evening of dance and music.
