The first-ever Indian theatrical adaptation of the classic Hollywood film Giant brings its legendary tale of love, loss, tradition, power, & betrayal to stage at the Royal Opera House, Mumbai, this December. Texas is replaced by Assam in the 1950s where our intriguing characters come to life  Arjun Singh Thakur (Varun Pande) is the pride of Assam and the heir to the 5,000 acre Thakur tea plantation estate in the newly Independent India. He is steadfast & rooted in his tradition and heritage.

Gayatri Arjun Singh Thakur (Tirrtha Murbadkar) who has been brought up in Calcutta, the hub of literature and politics, is now the new Thakurain of Assam. She's fierce, outspoken, feisty, and beautiful. Eklavya Rajkhowa (Mikhael Kantroo) is an orphaned worker at the Thakur Estate who is considered manipulative by some and worthless by others, until one day, things turn in his favour. What do the changing tides of time & fortune have in store for our leads & their families?
