Raell Padamsee’s Ace Productions and Create Foundation  present  The story of Aruna Shahbaug, a nurse who worked at King Edward Memorial Hospital, in Mumbai, was attacked by a hospital helper in the veterinary section of the hospital, and was in coma for 42 years and ultimately led the Supreme Court to pass a very pertinent law on rape and the "Passive Euthanasia Law“. She was 25 years old when she was raped, and close to 66 years when she died.. Lushin Dubey as Aruna however,  will play 18 characters in Raell Padamsee's ACE Productions Aruna's Story.

Aruna's story is poignant, because, inspite of coming from poor and humble beginnings, she dreamt of tall dreams for herself. She was a spitfire of a woman, independent, ambitious, radiant, determined, outgoing and of  a sprightly personality.

One third into the play, and we see the journalist , bringing alive the laws that Pinki Virani fought for, in connection with rape perpetrators... and also the law on euthanasia, for terminally ill or those patients in a semi-comatose state.
